Covers Units from Certificate II in Hairdressing – 6 weeks
This is an innovative, practical course aimed at new entrants in to hairdressing and will give an all round exposure, necessary to gain work within the hairdressing industry.
Pre-Requisites: There are no pre-requisites for this course.
Course Duration: 6 Weeks Full Time
Qualification: Some units from Certificate 11 in Hairdressing

- WRHCS201A - Prepare clients for salon services
- WRHCS202A - Maintain tools and equipment
- WRHCS204A - Maintain and organise work areas
- WRHCS205A - Follow personal health & safety routines at work
- WRHHD202A - Apply single, two and three strand braiding techniques
- WRRLP1B - Apply safe working practices
- WRHHD201A - Dry Hair to shape
Use your creative, artistic flair to gain skills preparing and shampooing clients and creating hair designs. Gain experience by participating in in-house competitions and a work placement to put your skills in to practice.

Our Training Centre
The West Australian Group Training Scheme already has an outstanding reputation for placing apprentice hairdressers into the workforce.
WA Group Training has now ventured into the Training Industry with its own RTO and is providing Certificate III in Hairdressing in 2010 to add to its existing Certificate II in Hairdressing.
Our salon like training facility is state of the art thus providing a superior learning environment for prospective future hairdressers.
We provide our students with a new innovative approach to learning the fundamentals of the hairdressing trade.
We offer a shuttle bus service that can pick up students from the Whitford's train station from 9am each class day.
You can also utilize the public transport bus with its route along Wanneroo Road and one of the stops is a mere 5 minute walk from the campus.
Limited parking is available on campus.
Our highly motivated, dedicated and experienced team will provide quality training and support to the students at all times.
Future plans included short courses and training for senior hairdressers.
